My Journey
Can you help me turn performance into impact?

My Mission
Harness the power of golf to raise awareness and funding for Santa Barbara nonprofits through charity events, youth outreach, and performance-based pledges — while introducing new kids to the game and strengthening community connections.
My Vision
A Santa Barbara where golf equals giving: repeatable tournaments that raise substantial funds, welcome young players, and build a lasting philanthropic legacy.
The Goal
Help me raise $100,000 or more over 4 years.
As part of the AAPLE Academy at San Marcos High School, I’m required to lead a four-year initiative. I’ve chosen to make a difference through golf — using my own performance on the course and in the classroom as a vehicle for impact. This page tracks that journey throughout my high school years.
How it works:
You choose a pledge amount tied to specific performance milestones: Academic A’s, tournament birdies, and tournament wins. That gives me extra motivation to excel. I track my performance stats here and share updates each semester.
You only pay for what actually happens that year. If it’s easier, you can also make a fixed annual gift or a one-time donation.
Contributions go 100% to the Accelerated Academic Program for Leadership and Enrichment Academy (AAPLE Academy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 13-1837418) or other local nonprofit organizations.
When a year starts — and when you give:
For pledges and stats, each high-school year runs September 1 – August 31.
Birdies, wins, and A’s in that window count toward that year’s total.
A new year begins every September 1.
Each November I send a year-end update for the year that just ended August 31, plus a link to complete your donation based on what you pledged.
A 4 year pledge is always an option, even if stats totals for that year have been “closed”.
Year 1 (freshman, 2025–26) closed August 31, 2026. Year-end totals and the payment link go out in November 2026.
Year 2 (sophomore, 2026–27) starts September 1, 2026.
What support can look like:
Based on my freshman-year results (210 tournament birdies • 7 tournament wins • straight A’s), here’s roughly what different yearly levels could look like:
~$200/year → $1 per birdie (or mix in a few bucks for wins & A’s)
~$500/year → $2 per birdie + $15 per win + $10 per A
~$1,000/year → $4–5 per birdie (or sprinkle in wins & A’s however you like)
Results will vary from year to year — and that’s half the fun!
