Academics
I work hard in school, not just to earn strong grades, but because I actually want to understand the material. I’m the student who asks a lot of questions and genuinely enjoys helping my classmates do better.
I was among the top students academically throughout middle school at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. At San Marcos High School I currently hold a 4.5 weighted GPA.
AAPLE Academy
I’m proud to be part of the Accelerated Academic Program for Leadership and Enrichment Academy (AAPLE Academy) at San Marcos High School. While San Marcos is already an excellent public high school, AAPLE is a selective, merit-based program of only 30 highly motivated students per grade (120 total). The focus is clear: rigorous academics (including a minimum of 8 AP courses), real leadership development, and meaningful community service, all aimed at preparing students for the most selective colleges in the country.
Through AAPLE we take advanced classes, complete 200+ hours of community service, and regularly hear from impressive local leaders and guest speakers who share real-world insights and inspiration.
My sustained initiative project is Golf for Giving (website coming soon), where I help nonprofits use golf events to raise funds for their organizations.
